On one of the surviving Georgian terraces east of Hackney Road, where the houses are small, the doors are painted in colours that would look ridiculous anywhere else, and the whole street empties out by ten at night.
The maisonette takes the top two floors. Two bedrooms, one a proper double and one that works as a single or a study. The living floor is open plan with the kitchen at the back, looking over the gardens rather than the road.
Columbia Road flower market is a ninety second walk, which is wonderful on Sunday and completely irrelevant the rest of the week. Broadway Market is fifteen minutes. Liverpool Street is twenty on foot or six on a bike.

Getting around
Liverpool Street is twenty minutes walking or six by bike, and there is secure bike storage in the hall. Hoxton Overground is nine minutes. There is no parking permit available for visitors, so please do not plan to drive.
