Walled garden

Small, south-west facing, and it catches the sun from about four in the afternoon.

A fireplace that works

Original, swept annually, first basket of logs included.

Flat walk to everything

No hills between you and the Crescent, which in Bath is worth saying out loud.

A townhouse on a quiet terrace just off Julian Road, which means you are a short flat walk from the Royal Crescent without paying the Royal Crescent premium. Bath stone, sash windows, ceilings tall enough to make the rooms feel twice their size.

Two bedrooms, both doubles, both quiet — the road outside carries almost no traffic after seven. The sitting room has the original shutters and a fireplace that works. Behind the kitchen there is a small walled garden that catches the sun from about four in the afternoon.

The Assembly Rooms, the Circus and Milsom Street are all within fifteen minutes on foot. So is the station, if you are coming by train, which you should.

Amelia

London · August 2026

The garden is small and perfect. We ate out there both evenings. Shutters in the front bedroom mean you actually sleep past six in the summer.

James

Birmingham · June 2026

Twelve minutes from the station with a suitcase, flat the whole way. Did not need a car once. The fireplace works and the logs were waiting.

Nina

Brighton · May 2026

Lovely house and very well kept. The road is quiet but there is some morning noise from deliveries around eight — did not bother us, worth knowing.

Robert

Exeter · April 2026

Georgian proportions do something to a room that modern ceilings cannot. Felt twice the size it is on paper. Immaculately clean.

Chloe

Booked direct after finding it elsewhere and saved about ninety pounds on four nights. Same house, faster replies.

Where you will be

Bath, Somerset, United Kingdom

A quiet terrace just off Julian Road, a short flat walk from the Royal Crescent without the Royal Crescent price. The Assembly Rooms, the Circus and Milsom Street are all within fifteen minutes on foot. The Saturday farmers market in Green Park Station is the one locals actually go to.

Getting around

The station is a twelve minute walk, so come by train if you can — Bath parking is punitive and the residents zone does not cover visitors. If you must drive, Charlotte Street car park is the closest practical option.

We give the neighbourhood, not the door number. You will get the exact address once your stay is confirmed.
